Overview
The KR274E EyePilot RTKⁿ 5,000 ZeroTrim (£3,149) is the top version of the Kress EyePilot RTKn. It is rated for lawns up to 5,000 m² and slopes up to 40%. Navigation: RTKⁿ network RTK + EyePilot AI vision.
Kress robot mower with network RTK (no own antenna), EyePilot camera obstacle detection, ZeroTrim edge cutting and built-in 4G, rated for 5,000 m² and 40% slopes.
On paper it suits large gardens — the manufacturer rates it for up to 5,000 m². The 40% slope limit makes it a better fit for flat or gently sloping lawns. As always, treat the area figure as a best case: buy with a 30–50% buffer if your lawn has slopes, trees or narrow passages.
Positioning uses network RTK: correction data arrives over the internet, so there is no reference station to mount on the house, but a mobile or Wi-Fi connection is needed. Cameras add AI obstacle detection and visual tracking, which helps the mower avoid toys, pets and garden furniture and bridges short gaps in the satellite signal.
It mows with a 24 cm cutting width and a cutting height of 20–60 mm. Edge cutting: ZeroTrim. Power comes from a 6 Ah battery. Rated noise is 62 dB(A). It weighs about 12.1 kg, light enough to carry between separate lawns. Connectivity: App, 4G.
The EyePilot RTKn family also includes the KR260E EyePilot RTKⁿ 700 ZeroTrim, KR273E EyePilot RTKⁿ 3,000 ZeroTrim, KR271E EyePilot RTKⁿ 1,500 ZeroTrim, KR261E EyePilot RTKⁿ 1,000 ZeroTrim, KR251E EyePilot RTKⁿ 1,000, KR250E EyePilot RTKn 500; the versions differ mainly in rated area, battery and price, so pick the smallest one that covers your lawn with a margin.
