Overview

The KR160E RTKⁿ 600 (£503) is the entry-level version of the Kress RTKn. It is rated for lawns up to 600 m² and slopes up to 40%. Navigation: RTKⁿ network RTK.

Kress robot mower with network RTK (no own antenna) and built-in 4G, rated for 600 m² and 40% slopes.

On paper it suits small gardens and front lawns — the manufacturer rates it for up to 600 m². The 40% slope limit makes it a better fit for flat or gently sloping lawns. As always, treat the area figure as a best case: buy with a 30–50% buffer if your lawn has slopes, trees or narrow passages.

Positioning uses network RTK: correction data arrives over the internet, so there is no reference station to mount on the house, but a mobile or Wi-Fi connection is needed.

It mows with a 20 cm cutting width and a cutting height of 30–60 mm. Power comes from a 4 Ah battery. Rated noise is 59 dB(A). It weighs about 12 kg, light enough to carry between separate lawns. Connectivity: App, 4G.

The RTKn family also includes the KR174E RTKⁿ 5,000, KR172E RTKⁿ 2,000, KR171E RTKⁿ 1,500; the versions differ mainly in rated area, battery and price, so pick the smallest one that covers your lawn with a margin.

Price: £503 (UK price incl. VAT (kress.com)). Prices vary by market and retailer — check current offers before buying.
